Much Ado About Poo Poo

I don't think you can find a classier topic than "toilets."

I've already stated my admiration for the Dual Flush Toilet, and get a little giddy each time I see one. But(t) while reading the ever-entertaining book, Toilets of the World, I came across a variation on that theme:

Now, come on. Does that make your day, or what?

(That photo is of a toilet located in Alberta, Canada.)

Love it!

My architect husband had mentioned such a thing to me, but I had no idea they were actually making them.

Very funny... AND cool :0)

This was so funny! My husband just went to Menards and bought us a new toilet for one of the bathrooms. He comes back with are you ready for this? . . . . ..
The Titan Toilet! "One time flush every time. The choice of the professional. Elongated and taller convenient height. More comfortable sitting. Rated best performer" All this from the side of the box! My questions really are- what kind of professional are they referring too and will the elongated and taller design help my boys hit the targe and not the back of the tank?

I will share the Canadian design with hubby. . . .

There is a "facility" at The Grand Canyon that is unbelievable - another lady and I actually took photos of it because it was ONE OF A KIND!!! Absolutely hilarious with a pedal like we have on our tractors. Priceless. We were laughing so hard, our hubbies could hear us outside the "outside" toilet!!! Speaking of that, most of my memorable moments happen in the bathrooms. What does that say about me??

Have to respond to Amanda - we, too, bought a new toilet, higher, too, and more eco-friendly; however, since it may be awhile before my hubby gets the time to put down the new flooring and then put the toilet on top of that, we have it "STORED" in our living room. You don't have to share that with your hubby or it may give him ideas.

Oh Amanda,

If we could get a Titan Toilet I'd be ecstatic. Yes, an elongated bowl is helpful for boys :0)

And - I know Stretch Mark Mama may disagree - but I HATE the new low-water toilets. Yuck. If you end up flushing 2 or 3 times, what are you really saving?

Actually, Julie. I agree. I'm all for using the low-water toilets only *IF* they work well with one flush. I'm very pragmatic.

that is awesome!

Haha! That is so funny - I love it! When I went to Australia, they had those toilets everywhere. Two buttons - two choices. The buttons weren't labeled so you just had to guess... What a resourceful thing, huh? Of course that toilet would be in Canada and not America.

We got ours last year free from our water company. That sign would sure save me explaining it when we have guests!
