How To Sell Your Old Camera Equipment

Bookmark and Share

Did you know you can sell your old camera and all its assorted junk online?

It's true!

And it's not eBay!

(I'm not
that out of touch.)

Check out the site Used Camera Buyer. You can even get a free quote on your stuff.

If I sound like a salesman, it's because I'm trying to convince The Man of The House to get his rear in gear... or shall I say, gear in... no, that's not it.

Anyway, we have a bunch of useless camera parts sitting around.

I'd like to know what camera junk you have stuffed away too. Misery loves company.

More tips over at Rocks In My Dryer.

I know I should probably sell my old film SLR, but I'm still attached to it! It was my first "real" camera, and it was looking through that camera that turned me on to photography. Just can't seem to part with it...

Really cute blog - different, fresh, fun :)

I have thought of selling them. But it is hard to do it knowing you spent so much for them. But then the are not in use any more. Thanks for the link.

We have a broken but usable camera. I first dropped it on a marble floor. I should see what we can get out of it, since we have replaced it already with a new and improved one with more memory.

great post.

I have a digital-ish camera were the pictures are put on a disk. I didn't think their'd ever be a place to sell that camera - I'll go check it out! Thanks.

Come by my place this week as I'm having a Birthday Giveaway

That is a great site that I never knew about. I posted some gear to craigslist, but wish I had obtained a quote before I made my post. The craigslist route was good as long as you don't settle for less than you are willing to take.

My story is here: selling your old camera gear on craigslist

Thanks again for sharing, there are a lot of ways to get rid of old gear and this looks like a very promising option for later down the road.
